随着技术的发展，GUI界面作为用户与计算机交互的主要门户也在不断进化。目前大部分BS应用使用网页作为GUI界面，允许开发者加入更多图片和动画元素。而传统的CS应用则倾向于使用经典元素如窗口、按钮等。通过在桌面程序中嵌入网页浏览器，可以融合两种方式的优点。例如，FMF就在启动欢迎界面上实现了BS风格的界面，基于DRI框架。

GUI interface is the main interaction gateway between operators and computers.Nowadays, most BS applications useweb pagesas the GUI interface.Thus we can decorate our programs with more pictures and animations. The traditional CS applications usually use the classic elements such as windows buttons and dialogs. But, all things have exceptions. By embeding a web browser into ourdesktop programs, we get most benefits of BS applications.

FMF implemented a BS face to users at startup welcome screen. It is besed on a common frameworkfor DesktopRich Interface, namely DRI.
