IBM LS21 安装Solaris 10 u9

 

这几天在IBM LS21 上安装solaris 10 一直没有进入到安装界面

 

 一直停留在上图画面中.郁闷

 

今天在国外网站上看到一个解决方法,试了一下.可以成功引导安装

 

方法如下:

So in order to install Solaris 10 on LS21 you need to go to BIOS and:
1) Select "Advanced Setup", and then "PCI Bus Control" and then select the
"PCI Enhanced Configuration Access" option.
2) Press the <> or to select "Enabled".

另IBM官方也提供了一个解决方法,未测试:

4.1 Installing Sun Solaris 10 Operating System 8/07

To install Sun Solaris 10 Operating System 8/07, complete the following steps:

1. In order to install Sun Solaris 10 Operating System 8/07 or later:
   1. Turn on the blade server.
   2. When the prompt Press F1 for Configuration/Setup is displayed, press F1 .
   3. Select Advanced Setup then select Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) Settings , and select Reboot System on NMI .
   4. Press the Right Arrow or Left Arrow key until Disabled is selected.
   5. Press Esc twice.
   6. Select Save Settings .
2. Insert the Solaris 10 Software 1 for x86 Platforms CD into the CD drive and boot the system.
