至今,笔者仍清楚地记得,那是2004年夏天,北京中关村融科资讯中心10层,在柳传志办公室,笔者就联想国际化的问题求教于他。其时,中国电子信息百强 最新排名出笼,京东方、TCL双双超越联想控股,柳传志一笑付之、不为所动。“不把长跑当短跑跑”的柳传志顽强地坚守着他的“爬坡理论”:企业成功的方式 有很多种,通向技术巅峰的道路就像攀登珠穆朗玛。华为爬的是北坡,联想爬的是南坡。南坡比较安全、平缓,北坡艰险陡直。华为成功了,联想也会成功。
本真、直率的柳传志也曾由衷地告白,“我最大的缺点是容易轻信”。柳传志其人,外表强硬、内心柔软。他说,“经营企业,如果心肠冷漠,肯定做不长久,一定要以心换心、诚恳相待。如果没有铁的纪律的约束,企业肯定也不行,要把握好这个度。”
事实上,“狠”与“善”是非常难以拿捏与把握的“尺寸”问题,洋溢着人性的底色,考验着企业家的举止与韬略。
笔者听过一个真实的故事,2007年上半年,温州商界邀请柳传志前往“交流”。当时,暴雨侵袭温州,柳搭乘的飞机迫降在上海,工作人员建议第二天早晨再乘 机飞往温州,柳传志不同意,担心第二天飞机再延误无法准时参会,责人找来“公务车”连夜赶路,终于在第二天早六点左右赶到了温州。当柳传志红着眼睛出现在 会场,温州的那位知名企业家激动地热泪盈眶……
