“Domain edit lock” error while web logic server 10.3.0. has started

“The domain edit lock is owned by another session – this deployment operation requires exclusive access to the edit lock and hence cannot proceed.
You can release the lock in Administration Console by first disabling “Automatically Acquire Lock and Activate Changes” in Preference, then clicking the Release Configuration button.“
Follow the below steps to fix the above issue -

1) Open the Weblogic Server Administration console at http://localhost:7001/console

2) Click on the Preferences link as shown in the below screen shot

3) Under “User Preferences” tab, scroll down to bottom to find “Automatically Acquire Lock and Activate Changes” option. Uncheck this option and click on “Save” button.

4) Scroll up and click on “Release Configuration” button on top left corner as shown below.

The issue gets fixed by doing above changes in the Weblogic server Admin Console.
