Siebel Exception: ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column

Issue:

When you are running Siebel Database Import Repository, you may got following error.

Exception:

Reason:

In general, this issue will be happened when you import Repository using your own ODBC Driver Type, but not for siebel.

Solution:

Please check your ODBC setting. Your ODBC driver type should be Siebel Oracle90 X:/…/siebsrvr.

If not, please remove it and create a new one.
