    1)  Supporting XHTML. To be exactly, Supporting XHTML MP. which is a subset of XHTML and superset of XHTML Basic.

         A wap gateway is used as a standard proxy server

         In WAP1.x, it is used as one of translation to adding information to each request.

 

5, If the data is got from gateway (10.0.0.172) . The www.google.com response may be changed to wml. The reason is that the gateway adding some information to the request ( maybe in UserAgent). So the response had been changed.

    Example, if request www.google.com by cmwap. the response data is
