Learn to say no in your work.

We are not willing to say no in our work so that we are very busy with our work.Some of work is from the boss while the other is from our co-workers. But we do not like to choose to say no to their request. But what if they ask us to do what we are not able to do. If we still want to give them answers in timely manner in such situation we have to sacrifice our spare time or maybe give them a ugly one. Even after we have asked more persons to help on the issue. Sometimes this even makes us in the hot water.

I think it is worse than saying no at once after analyzing the situation and give the reasonable explaination.

We say no to these people through listing the reasons we can get the understood.

Maybe they do not feel well but in the long run it is a good choise on certain things. 

Whenever someone asks you to do something, be ready to say no unless you have endless time what you do not know how to kill. But you need to listen carefully and get to know what on earth is it the peoplse ask you to do.The judging from you current ability and time give the good answer: Do not refuse to do it as soon as hearing the request. Such kind of refuse will hurt the people feeling. If we can give the reasonal explaination and even provide the way out or alternative people or way to resolve the issue. The people still appreciate us even thought we did not provide the specific help on the issue. 

Do not worry that you'll hurt someone’s feelings by saying no. To do something well, you must be focused. That takes self-discipline. But when you say yes to please someone, it shows you lack the self discipline to be truly focused especially when you can not fulfill something you have promised after several days.Saying no is a gift to the people and projects that are the prioritied in your life.

You do not automatically have to say yes to everything you're asked to do at work either. Your boss establishes your priorities. If she then gives you work that would compromise those priorities, you can refuse with an explanation. Sticking to the plan will make you look smart and committed.
