At startup there is a blocking pop-up with the message "A JavaScript error occured in the main process". See screenshot.
What happened
no problem running Compass for a local connection
new connection, the loading screen remains for minutes
I close Compass, then the problem happens when I restart Compass.
No other solution than reinstalling Compass.
直接关闭mongodbCompass导致重启该软件
解决方案：
Killing MongoDBCompassCommunity.exe processes that are still running solved it for me.
