How to use Ruijie to contact to the Internet on Ubuntu

I install the Ruijie on Ubuntu , mentohust, after finishing installing the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

Here are the information about my computer:

I copy the mentohust_0.3.4-1_amd64.deb to the desktop, and use the terminal to install it by typing the commands below:

cd Desktop
sudo dpkg -i mentohust_0.3.4-1_amd64.deb

And then, open the Settings to modify the information below:

Those are the information given by the school Ruijie System, and you just need to fill it as it is.

Next, open a terminal type the following commands :

sudo mentohust

And then it will let you type your accounts and your passwords, etc. And part of mine are as follows:

** 网卡:	eth0
** 网关地址:	172.17.135.1
** DNS地址:	202.197.224.5
** 认证超时:	8秒
** 响应间隔:	30秒
** 失败等待:	15秒
** 组播地址:	标准
** DHCP方式:	不使用

And if it doesn't work , there is also another way to modify the information above:

Open a terminal, and type the command below:

sudo gedit /etc/mentohust.conf

It will open a document which is used to store the information mentohust needed. Remenber to save it after your modifying.

Open your web browser, and type a website you want to type to see whether it can be opened or not.

And there are some commands about mentohust:

sudo mentohust -b1
sudo mentohust -k
