Step1: Backup your current local Outlook Contacts and then delete all contacts in it.

Step2 - Import GAL into local Contacts:
Open Outlook GAL->Select all the addresses(shift + page down)->right click and click on "Add to Contacts".
Now all the online address book should be there in your local outlook contact. It might take some time and depends on the number of entries in GAL.

Ste3 - Export local Contacts to a excel file:

File ->Open ->Import ->Export to a file ->Choose a file type ->Select Contacts folder to export ->Save exported file as(file name and location)->In the next step choose the custom fileds you want to export and finish.
