Veritas Cluster Server Configuration

1.   IP configuration

2.Veritas Cluster Service user account and Password

3.How to manager Veritas Cluster Server

 (A). Use GUI interface

      telnet to any hosts such as, pms01 or pms02, then use “hagui” command to start GUI interfacel

      #hagui&

 (2). Command Line interface

      Parameters describe as follows:

         groupname: Is “oracle”

         hostname: is “pms01” or “pms02”

      Switch service group:

         #hagrp –switch groupname –to hostname

         for example:

           #hagrp –switch oracle –to pms02

     

      Online service group:

         #hagrp –online groupname –sys hostname

         for example:

             #hagrp –online oracle –sys pms01

     

      Offline Service Group:

         #hagrp –offline groupname –sys hostname

         for example:

             #hagrp –offline oracle –sys pms01

 

      Check or Monitor the status of service group:

          #hastatus [-sum]
