404 Page Cannot Be Found with IIS 6 on Windows 2003

Symptoms
“404 Page cannot be found” when trying to access NFuse or Web Interface on a Windows 2003 Web server.
This error message not only means a file cannot be located but other issues may be involved.
Cause
By design, IIS is not installed on Windows 2003. When installing IIS, you are given the option to enable Active Server Page. If the option is not selected during Setup, you can enable it manually.
ASP pages are required to run NFuse/Web Interface and MetaFrame Secure Access Manager.
Resolution
In the Web server extensions, verify the ASP.NET status is Allowed if using Web Interface 3.0. If you are using NFuse or Web Interface 2.0, verify the Active Server Pages status is Allowed.
In Add/Remove Programs, select Add/Remove Windows Components, verify the ASP is enabled in the following windows (see Steps 1 through 8).
1. Highlight Application Server.
2. Select Details.
3. Enable ASP.NET.
4. Highlight Internet Information Services (IIS).
5. Select Details.
6. Highlight World Wide Web Service.
7. Select Details.
8. Enable Active Server Pages.
