What do You Working For?

Work is boring, so there have to be a purpose. To buy a notebook? Somewhere sometimes i almost assure that my recent work is for that reason, but now some new ideas have occurred to my mind. Why I have to buy a computer? Everyday I face to it, working with it, if I buy one, and there is not a suitable space in my room to place it, maybe I will place it on my bed, and I sleep with it.enn..the problem is taking on. All my life is around a computer! Is that the life I devout pursuit of?

Since I entered in my company, fresh sensation have gone, Instead of the fact that I have to work six days a week, from the time I wake up and till I fall sleep. I have to work until the day before Chinese New Year and have only 8 or 10 days off. I can imagine that my parents waiting me so long!

All of this has to be continuing, not only now but also some years even decades in future.

So, it is necessary for me to find out the reason, not a need but a must!

The question is: why I have this thought at this time? Either earlier or later?

When I am in school, I have plenty of time. I can do whatever I want to do. It is free, nobody force me to do anything. I have nothing to worry about. Now, I am in company, the boss pay me, I should to do what he told me. It is passive. Project has deadline-pressure. Moreover, the project is not just working, but working perfect-test, plenty of tests. In fact, in the design period of the project, it’s my first time to use VS2003 IDE and develop a c++ program. It’s my first time to know the file of swf format and to do some decompile job. I feel like adventure, I never know the result what the next step will bring. It’s fulfill of overcome and the pleasant of solving problem. I can see that the code lines of my program reach 4000, 5000, 6000...day by day. Now, the structure of the project is almost done, but not perfect. It needs plenty of tests. So, I have to find some examples in the net, and test, test, test...It's not technology related, and boring.

I find i am lack of patience. To a programmer, this character is a must. I know that I have a long way to go. I have to learn to calm down, and perfect the project step by step.

--Working is for a better life. Life first, then work! Fighting and perfecting myself in 2008!
