Xmanager 连接red-hat 5.3 与 6.3配置方法

共同点：

 /etc/inittab文件

修改/etc/inittab文件

id:3:initdefault: 

修改为： 

id:5:initdefault:

 /etc/hosts

保证有如下两行：

127.0.0.1localhost

IP  localhost

 关闭防火墙 禁用SELinux

用命令system-config-firewall来关闭防火墙

区别：

red-hat 5.3

/usr/share/gdm/defaults.conf

/usr/share/gdm/defaults.conf这个gdm的配置文件，主要是以下内容：

Enable=true

DisplaysPerHost=10

Port=177

AllowRoot=true

AllowRemoteRoot=true

AllowRemoteAutoLogin=true

red-hat 6.3

1. Open /etc/gdm/custom.conf and edit the security and xdmcp section like the followings:

[security] 
DisallowTCP=false
[xdmcp] 
Enable=true   其实只添加这行也可以 
Port=177

2. Add UDP port 177 to the Allow list on firewall.
