P7 740(8204-E2B)更换内存

查看问题内存状态及位置

1.使用HMC进入ASM（操作-LED状态–启动Advanced System Management–帐号密码admin admin）

2.查看内存（System Configuratio–Hardware Deconfiguratio–Memory Deconfiguration）

选择模块continue查看问题内存位置及状态。（正常内存状态为Configured）

查看日志（System Service Aids—-Error/Event Logs）

3.Logout

关机

1.关闭分区

2.关闭小机

使用HMC关闭小机：操作-断电

拔除所有线缆

电源线

网线

光纤线

注意记下网线和光纤线位置

将小机置于服务位置

1.Open the front rack door.

2.Identify the system unit you are servicing in the rack.

3.Remove the two screws (A) (if present) that secure the system unit (B) to the rack.

While holding the system unit release latches (A) down on both the left and right sides, pull the system unit (B) out from the rack until the rails are fully extended and locked.

拆下覆盖板

1.Loosen the two thumbscrews (A) located at the rear of the cover.

2.Slide the cover toward the rear of the system unit. When the front of the service access cover has cleared the upper frame ledge, lift the cover up and off the system unit.

更换内存

1.Align the memory riser with the plastic guides on the memory cage. The memory modules (DIMMs) should be facing to the right.

2.Slide the memory riser into the cage until it stops just above the connector.

3.Press the locking tabs into the closed position until they snap into place.

更换之后

装上内存。装上覆盖板。推回小机。开机确认。
