本文介绍如何找到Git for Windows的安装路径，并通过命令提示符运行注册表更新命令来激活Git Shell扩展功能。
  1. Find your Git for Windows install path. Mine is: C:\Program Files\Git
  2. If necessary, gain local admin rights. (This is necessary at my office.)
  3. Start command prompt (cmd.exe)
  4. Run this command: regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Git\git-cheetah\git_shell_ext.dll"

<br />卸载git客户端之后，每打开一个文件夹都会出现could not find git path，非常麻烦，解决方法：打开  命令提示符，<br />输入regsvr32 -s -u git_shell_ext.dll，卸载此dll，再 删除git目录中未删除的del git_shell_ext.dll，出现删除不掉的情况，可以先关掉explorer.exe进程再删，删除就OK了。
