Globalization Engineer    

 

Job Overview

This position is responsible for creating and/or maintaining software related files including applications required for Globalization department operations. Provide analysis related to software selection, design and development, and solve problems. Design and code moderately complex units/modules/products that meet functional and business requirements on schedule and within budget.

 

Preferred Education

Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

 

Work Experience

Typically 2 to 5 years in software development

 

Skill Requirements

1.       Strong skill and rich experience on Windows programming with C/C++/C#

2.       Java programming experience especially on GUI development

3.       Strong experience of Perl scripting and Regular Expression

(Candidates meeting two of the above requirements are eligible.)

4.       Good communication skills including writing and speaking in English

 

 

Plus

Experience of XML, XSL and HTML

Knowledge of .NET framework

Experience on Oracle/SQL Server databases

Knowledge on computer science concepts (Operating Systems and Data Structures)

Object Oriented Analysis/Design ability
