Firefox把记住密码的网站的用户名密码存在哪里？

首先找到profile folder：

Operation System	Profile folder location

Unix/Linux	~/.mozilla/

这里只列出了Windows和Linux的位置。

在%profile_folder%\Firefox\Profiles\%xxxxx%.default文件夹下，有一个Signon%version_number%.txt文件即存储了firefox为各个站点保存的密码。

比如在firefox3版本，有一个文件Signon3.txt文件。格式如下：

那IE7把密码存在哪里？

IE7把自动补全的信息存在注册表里。

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
        Explorer\IntelliForms\Storage2

只有当用户选择保存登录信息的时候，才会在注册表里创建相应的注册信息行。
