802.11是基础标准,最初版于1997年发布,随着技术的发展,产生了一系列的修订案,例如802.11n等等。与此同时,802.11也在更新版本,例如802.11-2007、802.11-2016。更新的802.11会将之前发布的一些修订案内容整合进去。在看修订案的时候,需要对基础标准有一定的了解,因为修订案都是这么来写的"change the ... as follow:",当然在修订案的首页,也会说明修订的基础版本。
