Introduction

Ichiro Suzuki is a legendary Japanese-born(日本出生的) professional baseball sport.He was seven times batting(打击) champion in his home country before emigrating（移民） to the US and becoming only the second player in the history of the Major League（大联盟） to win both the Rookie（新手）of the year.and the Most valued  player(MVP) awards(奖) in the same year.In August 2013,his career hit total reached the four thousand mark(分).

Chilhood

Ichiro Suzuki was born in Kasugai,Japan,in 1973,His father who had played baseball in high school.was dead set on(下决心) giving young Ichiro a head start.and began traning his son when he was just three years old,Before long (不久以后),the traning  sessions had become a daily ritual(仪式，礼制) and stretched long into the night。Though his record was impressive(令人钦佩的).young Ichiro didn't make the cut for the professional draft in 1991.on account of(由于) his slight stature（身材矮小）

Career in Japan

Though he spent his first couple of years as a professional in Japan's minor league(少年棒球联盟).Suzuki switched on(施展) the magic almost as soon as he was selected to play at the top level.He lead the pacific Leagues with an astonishing(惊人的),385 batting average.He won a subsequent six further batting titles.three MVP awards,and the Japanese Championship in 1996,In 2000,Suzuki's club received offer's from American major league teams.The Seattle  Mariners(水手) won the bidding（中标）.signing Suzuki for a total of twenty-seven million dollars.

Career in the US

Ichiro took the United States by storm.He was the first Japanese player a Major League side had played in an everyday position.and he wowed(使大为赞赏，赢得喝彩) fans with his ability to spray（喷雾） balls all over the park.His throwing arm was more powerful than one would expect from(期望从) his five foot.nine inch,one hundred and twenty pound(英镑) frame.He received numerous awards throughout his glittering(闪闪发光的) career,and in 2010 notched up（取得） his tenth consecutive（连续的） two-hundred hit season.

Playing Style

Nobody was entirely(完全地) sure how Ichiro Suzuki did it.Night after night he would consistently smash around extraordinary (非凡的)displays of batting power.each time the pictures thought they had figured him out .Suzuki proved them all wrong.He was unstoppable and always had something extra up(额外增加) his sleeve.He realized(实现) a long-stading ambition on the last day of the 2015 season:he pitched（投掷） a complete inning（一局）.
