I have been bored these days by two 4th-year undergraduates who take OOP as an elective course and fail to pass the exam. As a teacher, I’m not willing to deliberately make things difficult for any students. Before students who leave more than 40 grades examination questions unanswered, I am powerless and helpless even if I give them full marks for achievements at ordinary times. Their attitude for courses is terrible, not to mention the knowledge they learn. After all, it is not my business. It is they who are responsible for the consequence.
The real vigor-consuming thing this week is that I was perplexed about the paper needed writing. I’m in a state of indecision rewarding the content. It is difficult to complete a high level paper involving new ideas in that my research subject advances at a low pace and it is still a long way to go to effect a breakthrough. And it is also troublesome to find out a breakthrough point in other subjects considering a superficial understanding for me. While, there is no shortcut to take. The ever-increasing feeling of insufficient and inadequate professional knowledge make me have no choice but to go to great length to read papers and professional materials these days. Only in this way can I combine the theory existed with my research subject, which will add luster to the paper.
