My Niece Is Born

Yesterday, I dropped in on my sister, who gave birth to a child several days ago, taken care of by my brother-in-law and my aunt. I’m interested in the baby, so cute and beautiful like my sister.

    I cannot help sighing with deep feelings. How time flies! I still remember clearly the happy time we played together in childhood. And now she has been a young mother. From my sister, I see a happy marriage, and know what it is to live entirely for and with what she loves best on earth. To be together is for them to be as free as in solitude, as gay as in company. They are precisely suited in character, one’s confidence is bestowed on the other, and they encourage each other in the face of difficulties —— perfect concord is the result.

    I don’t know why when it comes to marriage, I feel it is very far from me, and I’ve hardly thought what my life will be after marriage. After all, marriage, as the most important thing in human life, is not a sport.  Maybe it is true that marriage is the end of one life, and the beginning of another.
