You must use Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2019 version 16.11.5 to compile ObjectARX applications for use in AutoCAD 2023. AutoCAD 2023 targets the .NET Framework 4.8, which is the default target for new projects in Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2019 version 16.11.5.

objectArx 2024: R24.3

You must use Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2022 version 17.2.6 to compile ObjectARX applications for use in AutoCAD 2024. AutoCAD 2024 targets the .NET Framework 4.8, which is the default target for new projects in Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2022 version 17.2.6.
