A computer program named “HOMER” [16] was applied to generate hourly wind speed data from the recorded long-term wind speed data at the test site. This program generated the hourly wind speed data by first updating the mean wind speed to the hub height. ”HOMER” then generated the wind speed probability by aWeibull probability density function.Wind speed uncertainty was considered in this program. Equation (28) shows the variation of wind speed with height. Equation (29) shows the Weibull probability density function [16]
