The war of Peloponnesian is so important for ancient greek. It also affect the Great Plato. I sought the introduction on that war, and got the book -- History of the Peloponnesian War.
To understand the philosophy of Plato we must know the war. That war is called the World War in ancient Greece. After the war Athens began to fall, Sparta won. However, the ancient greece was in influece after the war. The ancient Persia was just trust winner. Perhaps, it was said by some one to Darius II of Persia was the chief instigator.
The author of The War of Peloponnesian -- Thucydides, is called a greak histrian. His conception of history was considered as objective, atheism. But there are another voice to say Thucydidas tried to hide something that was considered shamed. I will publish those articles on this war in my blogs.
