According the announcement, the school is going to close the dinning hall during spring vacation this year. Because a few students stay in school cannot let the dinning hall make ends meet. And the school suggest the staying student to have meals in town.

While the man in the speaking think school’s plan is ridiculous for two main reasons.

First, he thinks that school could take less extreme measures like only open dinning hall for an hour during meal time, or just make a smaller menu during vacations.

Second, he argues that it’s very inconvenient for students who stay in school to have meals in town. Because they all have big assignment like researching, writing paper and so on. So it will be time-consuming and make them can’t concentrate on their assignment to go to town for a meal.
