Sales Development Representative

About the Job
Responsibilities
- Make first contact and nurture a prospect relationship into a marketing qualified lead
- Partner with sales and marketing to develop and conduct prospecting strategies and build and execute on named account strategies
- Follow up inbound enquiries and leads
- Represent and promote InterSystems at industry events
- Manage and be accountable for growing your pipeline using technology to engage with your prospects and to track and report on progress.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on marketing efforts based on real front-line interactions
- Conduct industry research to uncover pain points, find potential sales opportunities, build account profiles
- Handle a variety of communication including, but not limited to, cold-calling, inbound calls, warm follow-ups, social media, and email campaigns
- Achieve quota for leads generated/handed off to Sales Team (Sales Qualified Opportunities)
Qualifications
- BA or BSc in business/economics, marketing or technical
- Three or more years' experience of business development/inside sales(database or IT experience is preferred)
- Experience qualifying and selling software or other technology products over the phone (APAC experience preferred)
- Social selling skills
- Experience using the latest CRM and sales technology tools
- Strong listening and solution selling skills
- Collaborative and cooperative attitude with local and global sales and marketing teammates
- Goal orientation and self-motivation, with a passion for technology
