robably the biggest feature — and the one that you’ve likely heard the most about — is Unicode. Tiburon will be a completely Unicodified (yes, I’ll take credit for making up that word ) product. That means every single part of it will be based on and use UnicodeString as the default string. That means everywhere: compiler, RTL, VCL, IDE, COM, dbExpress, everything.

But Unicode isn’t the only feature in the box — far from it. In the coming weeks, you’ll be seeing lots information about all the cool stuff coming in Tiburon. Stuff like new VCL components, a really cool new DataSnap framework (that still works with your existing DataSnap applications), a new COM and ActiveX architecture, new language features like Generics and Anonymous Methods, IDE enhancements, and much more.
