        In October, 2021, a week-long exhibition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center exhibited Chinese architecture. China has long been known for its pagodas (宝塔)and palaces. The event happened to fall on the 24th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland.
        “The exhibition aims to promote national pride,” said Carrie Lam, the then
Chief Executive of Hong Kong, China.
        China has a history of thousands of years. Many ancient dynasties came and went, with each era reflecting new architectural feats. One of the models on show describes the Summer Palace, which was built in 1709, during the rule of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. Situated on over 864 acres in Beijing, its palaces and gardens were once meant to serve Chinese emperors.
        China is now home to several modern architectural treasures. These include a hospital in Hong Kong that was completed in just four months to treat patients with COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. Other famous structures include the Shanghai Tower, the third-tallest building in the world, and the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. The high-speed railway was completed in 1984. Its route includes a station in the Tanggula Mountains that is the highest railway station in the world.
        Another celebrated structure, the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong, wasdesigned by famous architect I. M. Pei. Its triangular shape was inspired by bamboo shoots, standing for growth and hope.
        Looking to the future, Chinese architects are exploring several possibilities, including the idea of “sponge cities”. This idea could help with the country’s water shortage by taking in rainwater and turning it into drinking water.
        “The purpose of this exhibition,” said Fionz Chan, one of the organizers, “is to show that China is not just thinking about the past, but also the future.”
31. How long did the exhibition of Chinese architecture last?
A. 7 days.

                                                        Task 2
        Have you ever run into a careless cell phone user on the street? Perhaps they were busy talking, texting or checking updates on WeChat without looking at whatwas going on around them. As the number of humans of this new “species” has kept rising, they have been given a new name-- phubbers(低头族).
        Recently, a cartoon created by students from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts put this group of people under the spotlight. In the short film, phubbers with various social identities(身份) bury themselves in their phones. A doctor plays with his cell phone while letting his patient die, a pretty women takes selfies in front of a car accident site, and a father loses his child without knowing about it while using his mobile phone. A chain of similar events eventually leads to the destruction of the world. Although the ending sounds overstated, the damage phubbing can bring is real.
        Your health is the first to bear the effect and result of it. “Constantly bending your head to check your cell phone could damage your neck,” Guangming Daily quoted doctors’ words. “The neck is like a rope that breaks after long-term stretching.” Also, staring at cell phones for long periods of time will damage your eyesight gradually, according to the report.
        But that’s not all. Being a phubber could also damage your social skills and drive you away from your friends and family. At reunions with family or friends, many people tend to stick to their cell phones while others are chatting happily with each other and this creates a strange atmosphere, Qilu Evening News report.
        It can also cost you your life. There have been lots of reports on phubbers who fell to their death, suffered accidents, and were robbed of their cell phones in broad daylight.

### 关于2025湖北省专升本考试C语言模拟试题 针对2025湖北省专升本考试中的C语言科目,虽然具体的官方模拟试题尚未公布,但从以往的趋势来看,这类考试通常会覆盖基础语法、函数应用以及简单的算法实现等内容。下面是一些可能出现在此类考试中的典型题目示例: #### 题目一:计算整数各位数字之和 编写一个程序,接收用户输入的一个正整数n(假设不超过int类型的最大值),并输出其各个位上的数字相加之和。 ```c #include <stdio.h> // 定义求解单个整数各位置数值总和的方法 int sumOfDigits(int n){ int result = 0; while(n != 0){ result += n % 10; // 取当前最低位加入到result中 n /= 10; // 去掉已处理过的最低位 } return result; } int main(){ int num; printf("请输入一个正整数:"); scanf("%d",&num); if(num>0){ // 确保只对正值操作 printf("该数的每位数字之和为:%d\n",sumOfDigits(num)); }else{ printf("错误:请输入有效的正整数。\n"); } return 0; } ``` 此题考察的是基本的数据结构理解和控制流语句的应用能力[^3]。 #### 题目:判断完数 设计一段代码来检测给定自然数是否为完数(也称为完全数)。所谓完数是指除了本身外所有因子(除法运算得到的结果是整数的那个数)加起来等于它自身的数。例如6=1+2+3就是一个典型的例子。 考虑到实际应用场景下的需求变化和技术进步趋势,未来可能会更加注重在线测试平台的功能优化和服务提升,比如通过互联网完成更便捷高效的考生注册流程等措施[^2]。因此,在准备过程中也要关注最新的技术动态和发展方向。 对于上述两个问题而言,如果希望进一步增强练习效果,则可以在原有基础上增加更多交互性和实用性功能,如允许连续多次查询而不必重新启动应用程序等功能改进[^4]。
