Hotfix KB2731284 or later update is installed, no need to zero-out data files

Solution : Steps to download and install Hotfix KB2731284 for MongoDB

Step 1: Search for the missing file and click on the link provided by Microsoft as per the following screenshot
           or You can directly go to this link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2731284

Step 2: On the page that opens,click on the link shown below.

Step 3: Check the check-box and enter your email address, where you would receive the link to download the hotfix

 

Step 4: The following screenshot shows the email  received  . Click on the link provided at the bottom of the mail to install the  hotfix .

Step 5: The following screenshot shows the email received. Click on the link provided at the bottom of the mail to download the Hotfix.
           Note - This link download the a Self-Extractor zip file. Which will extract the actual Hotfix that you need to install.

Step 6: After download the Self-Extractor and run it. Click on Continue button

Step 7: Now choose the folder in which you want extract the Hotfix and click on Yes. 
​           Note - You will find the Hotfix(a executable file) in selected directory 

Step 8: Navigate to the folder where you have extracted Hotfix  Windows6.1-KB2731284-v3-x64.msu  and run it. ​            

Step 9: Click on Yes button.​            

Step 10: Wait for the Installation completion. ​            

Step 11: Click on Restart Now to reboot your computer.
            Note - without restart, changes will not reflect. also,  You have to install MongoDB Server again   ​
